Where did ya pick up that 24" starrett blade from?

Tchizz-every time you parade that 24" blade around, I get serious ruler envy. I've got the 4" and the 12" satin blades, but that 24" looks like a must have. It will work with my 12" starrett body won't it?

Gotta admit that I started watching some of the early episodes again. they're so much better to view using Itunes its like seeing them for the first time.

car etc

Car's good. I stopped working on it after getting it dialed in and all polished up. It will be fun to cruise with in the local 4th of July parade coming up and it beats driving my 8 cyl 540i with these gas prices.

The table is like a jealous grade school girlfriend sitting in the corner scowling at me for not spending any time with her. Money's been tight and I need to buy materials to start the next step, but since this is just a learning exercise, I may just use the maple veneer I already have and practice the techniques with it. I'm accepting the fact that this isn't going to be a show off piece and I need to just learn the techniques.

When I bought my 12" starrett, I think I bought it online, but I haven't seen anyone who carries just the blades in a 24" length. Maybe someone can chime in with a source.

Starret blades

Paul,

You can get Starret blades at Japan Woodworker and Tools for Working Wood. They have some of the best prices I have found. Expect to spend $72.00 plus for a 24" blade.
