We’re finally at the end of 2023! This year there was no shortage of nifty home gadgets and innovative home products that hit the market. And what better way to wrap up the year than highlighting 20 of our favorite home innovations of the year? From powerful vacuum-mop combos and indoor pizza ovens, to flame-proof safes and new tools, here are the 20 best home innovations we saw in 2023, in no particular order.

This past spring Craftsman announced three new electric riding mowers and added 10 additional new outdoor products to streamline lawn care. We were particularly intrigued by the brushless compact riding mower that could trim up to an acre of grass per battery charge, the brushless spring trimmer with 80 percent more runtime, and a multi-purpose gardening tool that could speed through planting a garden three times faster than you might manually.

3. Eufy launched a powerful robot mop

Two of our favorite legacy outdoor brands, John Deere and Ego announced an exciting partnership, adding powerful Ego batteries to John Deere tractors. Ego’s line of outdoor tools is now sold through John Deere retailers alongside their quality tractors. This appliance turns food scraps into compost, helping reduce the amount of waste and unwanted leftovers in the kitchen by 90 percent. 15. Ooni just launched its first electric pizza oven for indoor use

The brand behind the market’s most coveted outdoor pizza oven (our personal favorite from hands-on testing, too!) launched an electric indoor-outdoor model to make restaurant-quality pies in your kitchen.
