Char-Broil Performance Series Black 4-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill
After testing many grills over the past few years, we chose the Char-Broil Performance Series 4-burner gas grill as our best bang for the buck pick. This budget-friendly grill offers 420 square inches of cooking space. During testing, we really enjoyed the extras, including a large warming rack on the interior and a side burner for even more cooking space. With multiple cooking zones and four burners, the grill is able to accommodate various types of food at the same time. If you’re cooking your chicken at one temperature and need to cook your veggies at a lower temperature, you can do so with ease.
The Char-Broil was also one of the easier grills to clean during our tests. Its bottom tray slides out completely, making it easy to clean off drippings and any bits of food.
We were able to fit plenty of burgers, steaks, and kabobs on the grill with enough space for easy flipping and turning. The grill also offers an electronic ignition for ease of lighting along with a temperature gauge on the lid.

Weber Spirit E-310 Black 3-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill
Weber is a reputable and trusted brand in the grilling market, and the Weber Spirit II E-310 scored our Best Overall award during our gas grill tests thanks to its exceptional build quality and performance. The Spirit II E-310 is made of heavy-gauge sheet metal and a thick enamel coating, which gave it a sturdier feel than many of the other grills we tested.
The grill is equipped with three stainless steel burners that deliver 32,000 BTUs for powerful heat and performance. The cast-iron grill grates are easy to clean and provide a nice sear. Other notable features include an electronic ignition, enameled flavorizer bars, and a grease management system.
