About
Michelle is a lifelong learner who lives and plays in the mountains of Park City, Utah, with her husband, daughter, and pets. She came to the Commerce team at BobVila.com in February 2022 with more than 5 years’ experience as a business owner, writer, and program manager.
Experience
Michelle considers herself an “always-curious” adventurer. She developed a small business from idea to profitability by introducing a personally beloved wellness service to the local growing community. She’s also built a reclaimed-wood greenhouse using cobbled-together internet guides to better grow vegetables at high altitude. Recently, she joined the BobVila.com team to start a new professional career as an assistant editor after a COVID-inspired reevaluation of what matters most in life.
As a business owner and nutritionist, Michelle has been on Park City’s local radio station (KPCW) and in articles for the local newspaper (The Park Record) and magazine (Neighbors of Park City). In her varied roles, it is her consistent curiosity and researcher’s mindset that drive her to better understand and thereby improve the world around her.
Education
Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in nutrition sciences from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. She has been a nutritionist, supplements manager, sleep and breathing coordinator, and float center owner.
