AeroGarden, the popular indoor hydroponics garden producer, announced that it would relaunch in spring 2025–and the time has arrived!. The company had previously shut its doors after a fall 2024 announcement that it was winding down its 20-year-long operation due to numerous business challenges. To our surprise, AeroGarden is now back and ready for the growing season, with multiple gardens and seed kits for sale.
AeroGarden hinted at the possibility of new products in the early spring, simply stating on its website, “Welcome back AeroGardeners! We are here for a fresh, new season of indoor growing, ready to reseed your love for gardening all over again!” It has also committed to updating the app, allowing existing indoor garden and grow light users to continue using their products with full functionality.
AeroGarden Seed Pod Kits Return to Amazon
With the relaunch, AeroGarden products are now available on Amazon once again—a relief to customers who already own its hydroponic gardens. To grow plants with AeroGarden, users must purchase preseeded pods or AeroGarden’s Grow Anything Kit, which allows users to plant any seed they choose. While AeroGarden sells over two dozen pod kits on its site, availability on Amazon is currently limited to only a handful of choices, such as heirloom cherry tomatoes, the Grow Anything Kit, mixed romaine, cascading petunias, and a few more. Prior to announcing their closure at the end of 2024, AeroGarden offered a broad line-up of indoor gardens, accessories, and seed pods on Amazon. We expect its Amazon offerings, including seed pods, to continue to expand with this relaunch.
AeroGarden’s Hydroponic Indoor Gardens Are Available for Purchase

AeroGarden has earned a reputation as one of the best indoor hydroponics garden manufacturers, offering easy-to-use systems that grow healthy plants. If you’re not a current user but have considered purchasing one, you can now do so with confidence. Accessories will continue to be available, and the accompanying app will receive updates, allowing all indoor garden and grow light smart features to function as they should.
We’ve tested a few of the brand’s hydroponic gardens, and here are a couple of our favorites:
- AeroGarden Bounty Hydroponics System: This model earned one of the top spots out of all the hydroponic garden systems we tested. It can grow up to nine plants, is easy to use, and provides a generous grow height of up to 24 inches.
- AeroGarden Harvest Hydroponic Indoor Garden: The AeroGarden Harvest model includes enough space to grow six plants and comes with a gourmet seed pod kit. During testing, our herbs grew big enough to harvest after only a month, and the setup took us less than ten minutes.
You can check out all the available products at AeroGarden’s Amazon store and AeroGarden.com.
What Else You Should Know
While AeroGardens didn’t release much information about its relaunch plans or hint at what types of new products it may unveil, it did promise that account growth history will remain available in the app and that its seeds will continue to be 100% guaranteed to grow.
The app will also remain supported and updated, and accessories are available via the Amazon AeroGarden store so that existing users can continue growing their favorite plants and new users can get started!
