I recently gave my home a refresh using four of Mrs. Meyer’s seasonal cleaning products, and they actually made daily chores feel more fun. Mrs. Meyer’s is known for eco-friendly, plant-based cleaners, so I was excited to try these limited-time fragrances in my spring-cleaning routine.

Rose Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner

The Rose Multi-Surface Everyday Cleaner was a joy to use. Its rose fragrance is not overpowering, which can be an issue with some rose scents. I used it on surfaces from dusty shelves to kitchen counters, and a couple of spritzes wiped away grime with no streaks left behind. The light floral scent that lingered afterward beats the usual harsh chemical smell.

Mint Dish Soap

The Mint Dish Soap made dishwashing a surprisingly pleasant chore. The scent isn’t a sharp peppermint; it’s more like light, clean laundry. This dish soap created plenty of suds and cut through greasy pans and baked-on food with no trouble. My dishes were sparkling, and I appreciated that the fresh scent lingered on my hands!

Lemon Verbena Vinegar Gel Cleaning Spray

For tougher grime, the Lemon Verbena Vinegar Gel Cleaning Spray came in handy. Its thicker gel formula clung to my stainless steel sink and dissolved some hard water spots, leaving the finish nice and shiny. It did leave a few streaks on my stainless steel dishwasher door, but a quick buff took care of that. Be warned: the vinegar smell is strong at first (much more noticeable than the lemon), though it fades as it dries. I don’t mind it, but you’ll notice that initial punch, and it may be too much for sensitive noses. Streaks aside, it worked well on stubborn grime.

Compassion Flower Room Freshener

Finally, I topped off my cleaning with the Compassion Flower Room Freshener to make the whole place smell lovely. It has a wonderful fresh floral scent, and just a few spritzes made my living room smell like a spring garden. I learned one spray is enough—the first time, I did a few too many, and it was overwhelming. With a light touch, the floral aroma lingers for hours without feeling heavy or artificial. It was the perfect finishing touch after all my cleaning.

Final Thoughts

After using all four of these products, I’m very happy with their performance. There were a few minor quirks—buffing away a few streaks, being careful not to overspray, and so forth—but those were easy to work around. Bottom line: these cleaners are effective, pleasant to use, and align with my eco-friendly goals, so I’ll gladly keep using them. I’d recommend them to anyone looking to make their cleaning routine a little more enjoyable.
